Phoenix is preparing for its first Super Bowl in a state where sports betting is legal.

Phoenix Planning For First Super Bowl in State With Legal Sports Betting
Fact Checked by Young Ruth

The first Super Bowl in a state with legalized sports betting will take place in a little over 220 days.

The upcoming Super Bowl LVII, scheduled for Feb. 12 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, will be a historic event as the first Super Bowl to occur after the legalization of sports betting in Arizona at the start of the 2021 NFL season.

Next winter, fans visiting the desert will be able to engage in Super Bowl betting and partake in a range of game-related entertainment. This will include a free outdoor festival spanning multiple days, hosted during game week at Margaret T. Nance Park in downtown.

The Caesars Sportsbook Arizona at Chase Field is a little more than 1.5 miles away from the park.

The FanDuel Sportsbook Arizona at Footprint Center is conveniently located nearby. Nance Park will host the live music and entertainment festival, while the Phoenix Convention Center will be the venue for the Super Bowl Experience in 2023.

Jay Parry, president and CEO of the Arizona Super Bowl Host Committee, shared his enthusiasm for the upcoming free festival in Arizona. The event aims to highlight the state’s unique culture and celebrate the Super Bowl, offering a chance for both local residents and out-of-town visitors to immerse themselves in Arizona’s diverse and dynamic atmosphere.

Football is a major driving force in the sports betting market.

An interesting element to monitor will be the influence of Arizona sports betting apps on the Big Game.

For the first time ever, the host city of Arizona is now allowing wagering on the Super Bowl. Ted Vogt, the Director of the Arizona Department of Gaming, expects a surge in betting from visitors attending the Super Bowl, which could result in a record-breaking month for the state.

Vogt believes that the football season is a key driver of growth in the industry. Even though sports betting is relatively new, anticipation is high as they gear up to host the Super Bowl in February. The market is evolving quickly and plans are being made for significant expansion in the next five years.

When planning your trip to Super Bowl LVII, be sure to visit the new BetMGM Sportsbook at State Farm Stadium, home of the Arizona Cardinals. Fans will be eager to find the BetMGM Sportsbook bonus code Arizona when they visit.

The DraftKings Sportsbook Arizona location at TPC Scottsdale, known for hosting the Waste Management Phoenix Open, is projected to open in the autumn of 2023. As a result, it is unlikely to be up and running in time for the Super Bowl.

Moreover, guests attending the Super Bowl have the opportunity to explore various casino sportsbooks located in the Valley and neighboring regions.

The official countdown has started for what is expected to be a remarkable Super Bowl LVII experience.
