OpenBet has signed a sports betting deal with Casino Arizona and Talking Stick Resorts in Arizona.
The OpenBet Sportsbook, the latest addition to the Arizona sportsbooks family, has recently opened its doors at Casino Arizona and Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale.
The facilities are located within the two casino establishments of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community, providing a range of self-service betting terminals and other amenities.
The OpenBet wagering systems will integrate management services from Don Best Sports, along with a range of AI-powered pricing models and advanced sports betting technologies.
Arizona retail sports betting had a banner day.
According to the chief commercial officer, Cathryn Lai, in a press release from OpenBet, Wednesday’s announcement represents the company’s most recent advancement in Arizona.
Lai expressed excitement about the new partnership with Casino Arizona in a press release. The collaboration will bring advanced retail products to help Casino Arizona enter the competitive sports betting market. Lai emphasized that this is a significant opportunity for Casino Arizona and Talking Stick Resort. The team is committed to providing a smooth launch with their expertise in sports betting entertainment. They are eager to offer high-quality and responsible sports betting options to the people of Arizona in the near future.
The team at Casino Arizona and Talking Stick Resort views Wednesday’s announcement as an opportunity to capitalize on the thriving Arizona sports betting market, which saw a record-breaking $690.979 million in March.
At present, the two Valley properties have a chance to rival retail sportsbooks at nearby tribal casinos such as the BetMGM-branded facilities at Gila River Resorts and Caesars Sportsbook Arizona at Harrah’s Ak-Chin Arizona in Maricopa.
Ramon Martinez, the public relations director for the two properties, enthusiastically announced the organization’s decision to introduce a new retail sportsbook. He emphasized the growing popularity of sports betting as a form of entertainment and expressed their commitment to enhancing their casino experience for customers. Martinez highlighted the selection of OpenBet as their technology partner for the sportsbook, citing their strong reputation for dependable and trustworthy solutions.
Which tribes in Arizona offer retail sportsbooks?
Retail sportsbooks have been launched by ten tribes in Arizona, including the Pascua Yaqui Tribe and Tohono O’odham Nation in Tucson.
In November, the inaugural retail sportsbook opened in Tucson at Casino del Sol, run by Scientific Gaming on the Pascua Yaqui Tribe’s reservation.
In a different area of the Valley region, Betfred Arizona and We-Ko-Pah Casino teamed up to install eight self-service kiosks at the property owned by the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation.
The Department of Gaming issued Arizona sports betting app licenses to 10 tribes in August. Any tribe that is part of the 2021 gaming compact is permitted to provide retail sports wagering on their tribal land.
