An Arizona Achievement

As the official sportsbook and daily fantasy partner of the 2021 Western Conference champions, FanDuel Arizona Sportsbook sees the sports betting world as a year-round hub for fans to wager on their favorite teams.

The sportsbook will be open year-round, in accordance with the company’s vision, as stated in their announcement.

Jason Rowley, the President & CEO of the Phoenix Suns, stated that the partnership with FanDuel represents a significant moment for the organization and its fans. He highlighted the shared objective of both the Suns and FanDuel to enhance the excitement and engagement of sports for fans. The collaboration is focused on providing thrilling sports and entertainment experiences while fostering a stronger connection with fans.

The approval of the FanDuel-Suns partnership and other sportsbook deals will be determined by the Arizona Department of Gaming, the regulatory body overseeing sports betting in the state.

AZ Working On Licenses

The department needs to determine which applicants are eligible for licenses by August 16, or by August 27 if there are more applicants than available licenses.

According to a survey conducted by yengols.com, there is anticipated to be a high level of interest in Arizona betting apps among bettors.

Mike Raffensperger of FanDuel is excited about the enthusiasm for sports betting and daily fantasy sports, and he sees the downtown sportsbook as a major success for the company.

Raffensperger, the chief marketing officer of FanDuel Group, shared his enthusiasm for the upcoming debut of our high-quality online and retail gaming offerings in Arizona. The partnership with the Suns represents a major achievement for both FanDuel, the Suns, and their supporters. The grand opening of the luxury sportsbook at Phoenix Suns Arena is just the start of a fruitful collaboration that will bring innovation and lasting advantages to the state.

BetArizona reported that FanDuel plans to open their sportsbook facility at Footprint Center in early September, according to a company spokesperson.
