In north Scottsdale, the first retail sportsbook at a PGA Tour venue is set to open next fall.
DraftKings Sportsbook Arizona announced on Tuesday their plans to open their first retail sportsbook in Arizona. The location will be situated on the southeast corner of Greenway-Hayden and Bell Road, directly across from the Stadium Course Clubhouse.
The Scottsdale City Council approved the facility on April 5, as stated in a press release from the company, with construction set to begin in May. To place wagers in Arizona, you must download the DraftKings betting app.
The DraftKings retail location will include 390 seats, 3,400 square feet of video walls and screens, a patio with video screens, VIP cabanas, and fire pits.

The TPC Scottsdale sportsbook will feature a full-service restaurant and bar with 12 draft beers and a diverse cocktail menu, as stated by the company.
Furthermore, the venue will include 40 sports betting kiosks, seven ticket windows, and a variety of other betting options for customers to enjoy.
The sportsbook is available to the public year-round, with the exception of the WM Phoenix Open in February. Guests 21 and over are welcome in the facility, while all ages are permitted in the restaurant area.
According to the company, the TPC Scottsdale sportsbook will operate as a hospitality area during the annual PGA Tour event, adhering to city regulations regarding operating hours.
Future WM Phoenix Open events will be redirected to a new location due to changes in the sportsbook’s accessibility.
