Arizona’s betting market advances with Desert Diamond Deal

Desert Diamond Deal Moves Arizona Betting Market Forward

On Monday, Desert Diamond Casinos & Entertainment added a new piece to the puzzle of Arizona sports betting by announcing their sportsbook operating partner.

In August, the Arizona Department of Gaming granted a license to the Tohono O’odham Nation’s enterprise, making it one of ten tribes in Arizona to receive this approval.

Desert Diamond revealed in a press release Monday that it has entered into a partnership with Kambi Group, a Malta-based operator, to introduce sports betting at its Tucson, Glendale, and Sahuarita locations. Furthermore, the collaboration will also see the launch of an online sportsbook in the fourth quarter of 2021.

What is Involved in the Partnership

The collaboration between Desert Diamond and Kambi Group, a top provider of odds compiling, customer intelligence, and risk management solutions for casinos, allows Kambi Group to enter the competitive Arizona betting apps market.

Furthermore, the Tohono O’odham Nation has been given permission to use Kambi Group’s kiosks and “Bring Your Own Device” technology, which Desert Diamond Casinos & Entertainment CEO Mike Bean hailed as a groundbreaking development in a recent corporate statement.

Bean was thrilled to announce the signing of a multi-year agreement with Kambi, a renowned company in the global sportsbook industry. This partnership will enable Desert Diamond to leverage its esteemed brand to provide customers with an exceptional sports betting experience across multiple platforms.

Kambi Group CEO Kristian Nylén viewed the decision to partner with Desert Diamond to offer online casino games to customers in Arizona as straightforward and uncomplicated.

Nylén expressed his pride in partnering with Desert Diamond Casinos & Entertainment in the press release, emphasizing how this collaboration further strengthens Kambi’s already strong relationships with tribal casino operators. He also discussed his enthusiasm for working closely with them to deliver exceptional sports betting experiences to both in-person guests and online users in Arizona.
