The Arizona Diamondbacks have finalized a partnership with a new casino for the upcoming 2022 MLB season.

The D-backs and the long-standing Valley institution Casino Arizona, in conjunction with their sister property Talking Stick Resort and Casino, announced their new partnership last week.

The D-backs and Colorado Rockies had previously worked together at Salt River Fields, where they both host their Cactus League games.

The evolution of the partnership between the D-backs and Casino Arizona

D-backs President and CEO Derrick Hall stated that the debut of Salt River Fields in Scottsdale in 2011 established a relationship between the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community, who own and operate Casino Arizona and Talking Stick Resort, and the baseball team. This connection ultimately resulted in a partnership between the two parties last week.

Hall was thrilled to announce the addition of Casino Arizona and Talking Stick Resort to the team’s family in the press release. He highlighted the strong partnership with the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community and expressed excitement about further developing their relationship with Casino Arizona. Hall also discussed plans to create memorable experiences for guests at Chase Field and make a positive impact on the community.

The casino will receive exclusive signage placement throughout Chase Field as part of their partnership with the D-backs. In addition, a new VIP lounge will be constructed behind the visiting dugout for the casino’s staff and guests to enjoy during games.

In a press release, Ramon Martinez, the director of public relations for Casino Arizona and Talking Stick Resort, highlighted the importance of forming partnerships with organizations that align with their values. He praised the Arizona Diamondbacks for their commitment to their fans and the community, expressing excitement about the opportunity to grow alongside a like-minded partner.

The Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community has not received approval for a new license for Arizona sports betting apps and does not currently have a retail sportsbook partner.

The Diamondbacks aim to maintain their unexpected strong start.

The D-backs have surpassed expectations with their 18-18 record at the beginning of the season.

Arizona’s winning streak was brought to an end by the Chicago Cubs last weekend, with the D-backs losing three out of four games. This brought their record back to .500 for the year.

The D-backs are looking to rebound against the division-leading L.A. Dodgers in Game 2 of their three-game series on Tuesday after a 5-4 loss in the previous night.

Caesars Sportsbook is offering odds of +180 for the D-backs on Tuesday, with a +1.5 point spread at -110 for the game.

The Arizona Diamondbacks have been given odds of +40000 by the Emperor to win the World Series in MLB betting, ranking them 25th in the standings.
