Predicted Number of Wins for the Arizona Cardinals in the 2021 NFL Season
In only 40 days, the Arizona Cardinals will kick off their 2021 regular season with quarterback Kyler Murray at the helm. The team is determined to secure a spot in the postseason for the first time in six years.
Arizona sports betting enthusiasts may be disappointed to see that oddsmakers are not very confident in the Cardinals’ performance, as they are ranked 20th out of 32 teams in the league with an over/under win total of eight.
Last year, the franchise had the same number of wins as the Cardinals, who lost five of their last seven regular-season games and missed the playoffs for the fifth year in a row.

As of Monday morning, DraftKings is offering odds of +100 for betting on the Cardinals to exceed their projected win total, which could range from -105 to -140.
If you bet on the Cardinals to win fewer games than their projected total, you could receive a payout of -120 or -125 from DraftKings and PointsBet, and +110 and +120 from FanDuel and William Hill, respectively.
The record appears to be very similar to last year’s.
Despite adding star players J.J. Watt and A.J. Green, the Arizona sports betting apps are still forecasting that the team will have a comparable record to previous seasons.
Both Watt and Green signed contracts with the Arizona Cardinals in free agency, with Watt agreeing to a $28 million deal for two years and Green receiving a $6 million contract for one year.
The Cardinals bolstered their roster with important acquisitions, such as veteran cornerback Malcolm Butler signing a one-year, $6 million contract, outside linebacker Markus Golden agreeing to a two-year, $5 million deal, and tackle Kelvin Beachum securing a two-year, $4 million contract.
Further acquisitions made during free agency include:
- Cornerback Robert Alford
- Safety Chris Banjo
- Offensive Tackle Branden Bowen
- Tight End Darrell Daniels
- Guard Max Garcia
- Punter Andy Lee
- Quarterback Colt McCoy
- Kicker Matt Prater
- Linebacker Tanner Vallejo
- Safety Charles Washington
- Safety Shawn Williams
- Guard Brian Winters
The Cardinals will kick off their season against the Titans on September 12th.
In 2021, the Cardinals will make history by participating in a 17-game regular season alongside the rest of the league. This unprecedented schedule will see them playing 11 consecutive games before their bye week in late November.
The 2021 regular season for the Cardinals will kick off with a game against the Tennessee Titans in Nashville on Sept. 12, followed by a home game against the Minnesota Vikings on Sept. 19.
The Kansas City Chiefs, with 12 wins, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, with 11.5 wins, are the frontrunners in Arizona NFL betting for total wins. Both teams competed in last year’s Super Bowl.
Top sportsbooks have the Baltimore Ravens leading with 11 wins, followed closely by the Los Angeles Rams, Green Bay Packers, Buffalo Bills, and San Francisco 49ers, all tied at 10.5 wins.
