The Cardinals managed to secure a win in Los Angeles on Sunday by beating the previously undefeated Rams 37-20, bringing their season record to 4-0.

Arizona won their second consecutive game with a double-digit margin by beating the Jacksonville Jaguars 31-19 in Week 3.

On Sunday at 1:25 p.m. Arizona time, the Arizona Cardinals will take on division rival San Francisco 49ers. The game will be broadcast live on FOX. Arizona is currently favored by 4.5 to 5.5 points according to Arizona betting apps.

Sports betting in Arizona started on September 9th with the start of the NFL season.

The Cardinals’ chances of winning the Super Bowl

The Cardinals’ win boosted their odds of winning the Super Bowl, with BetMGM Arizona now ranking Arizona seventh in the betting odds at +1400 to take the title.

TwinSpires has given coach Kliff Kingsbury’s team in Arizona odds of +1500, making them the eighth-best team in the NFL according to the rankings.

Three of the top sportsbooks in Arizona, including Caesars Sportsbook, DraftKings, and FanDuel, are offering the Cardinals odds of +1600 to win Super Bowl LVI. This ranks them 8th in the league in terms of odds.

The Cardinals’ Path to 4-0

The Cardinals outperformed the Rams’ tough defense in all areas of the game on Sunday, earning their fourth straight victory.

After three years as a quarterback, Kyler Murray is currently the frontrunner for the 2021 NFL Most Valuable Player award. FanDuel Sportsbook lists the former Heisman Trophy winner at +500 odds to take home the prestigious title.

Murray continued to shine in the 2021 season on Sunday, completing 24 of 32 passes for 268 yards and two touchdowns without any interceptions in the Cardinals’ 17-point victory at SoFi Stadium.

This year, Murray is exceeding his career-high statistics in completion percentage (76.1%), yards per completion (9.5), and passing yards per game (318.25).

Both the dynamic quarterback and running back Chase Edmonds stood out on Sunday, with the quarterback shining in Sedona red and white and Edmonds making a significant impact with 120 rushing yards on 12 carries in the victory.

The Cardinals scored 17 points in the second quarter, which allowed them to go into halftime with a 24-13 lead.

Arizona sealed the victory in the latter half of the game thanks to two successful field goals by veteran kicker Matt Prater, along with running back James Conner’s second 1-yard rushing touchdown of the matchup.

The Cardinals extend a warm welcome to the San Francisco 49ers in Glendale.

The Cardinals will have the chance to start their season 5-0 for the first time since 1974 when they play against the 49ers at home on Sunday.

After losing consecutively to the Seattle Seahawks and Green Bay Packers, San Francisco (2-2) prepares to face their next opponent on Sunday.

The 49ers began the season on a high note by defeating the Detroit Lions (41-33) and Philadelphia Eagles (17-11), but their performance has since declined due to an unproductive offense. Despite outpacing their opponents by 158 yards so far, their turnover ratio of minus-5 has been a major obstacle.

As of Monday afternoon, the Arizona Cardinals are favored by 5.5 points against the San Francisco 49ers in NFL betting in Arizona, with DraftKings. BetMGM lists Arizona as -5 and FanDuel has the Cardinals at -4.5.

In 2020, the Cardinals and San Francisco faced off twice with each team winning one game. The Cardinals secured a 24-20 victory on the road, but later succumbed to San Francisco at home in Week 16 with a score of 20-12.

Arizona last defeated San Francisco at home on October 28, 2018, with a final score of 18-15 in favor of the Cardinals.

It remains unclear if the Cardinals can outperform the 49ers to achieve a milestone that has been in the works for 47 years.

Murray and his team are favored by oddsmakers to have a strong chance of success on Sunday afternoon.
