Using Google Trends data from Jan. 1, 2023, we examined the popularity of TV shows such as “The Last of Us,” “Ted Lasso,” “The Mandalorian,” “Succession,” and “The Bear.” By averaging the data, we determined the most popular TV shows in every state.

Arizona, also known as The Grand Canyon State, reflected nationwide interests by selecting “The Last Of Us” as the most searched TV show, accounting for 31% of searches for the HBO post-apocalyptic thriller.
