The Suns have shown strength in the first round.

The Suns have shown their consistency in the first round of the NBA playoffs, winning seven out of their last 10 playoff appearances and making them a dependable option for Arizona NBA betting.

Phoenix was defeated in the first round of the playoffs in 2001 (against Sacramento in four games), 2003 (against San Antonio in six games), and 2008 (against San Antonio in five games).

The Suns previously swept their first-round opponents in 2005 when they defeated the Grizzlies.

In the seven seasons the Suns have reached the Western Conference semifinals, they have usually taken 5.4 games to eliminate their first-round opponents.

The Suns split their series against the Clippers this year, winning the first two games (112-95 on Oct. 23 and 111-95 on Dec. 15) and losing the last two (116-107 on Feb. 16 and 119-114 in the season finale on Sunday).

Could Durant be the game-changer for the Suns in the playoffs?

The Suns have a valuable asset in coach Monty Williams this postseason, as he has the advantage of having two-time NBA champion Kevin Durant on his team. Don’t miss out on the chance to bet on this player prop with one of our Arizona sportsbook promotions.

Phoenix went on an undefeated 7-0 streak after adding superstar Durant from Brooklyn in February. Durant chose to sit out the team’s final game against the Clippers in order to rest.

Durant’s health is uncertain as the 16-year forward has been sidelined for 35 regular season games and 10 games since joining Phoenix due to various injuries.

Should Durant continue to stay healthy, his ability to score over 29 points per game with the Suns could lead to a substantial impact.

To surpass the Clippers, the Suns will depend on players such as Durant.
