Rush Street may be the next sportsbook to join the Arizona market.

Rush Street Could Be Next Sportsbook To Enter Arizona Market

It appears probable that Rush Street Interactive, a sportsbook operator, has established a partnership with a sports team and/or casino in Arizona.

CEO Richard Schwartz conveyed his optimism regarding the company’s growth strategies in states such as Arizona and New York during the earnings call on Thursday. RSI has already filed an application for betting apps in Arizona.

The company is the fourteenth operator applying for an Arizona sports betting license.

Schwartz highlighted that aside from boosting revenues in existing markets, the company has been successful in penetrating new markets. He stressed the importance of expanding into new markets for growth, as well as improving their sports betting and casino game offerings through collaborations with GTG Network and Boom Entertainment.

As the year progressed, Schwartz’s position gained traction following RSI’s agreement to become the official partner of the Connecticut Lottery.

There are numerous interested parties in Arizona.

The Arizona Department of Gaming is on schedule to choose 20 sportsbook operators, including 10 professional teams/venues and 10 tribes, for the launch of legalized sports betting on Sept. 9, coinciding with the start of the 2021 NFL season.

Phoenix Rising, a team in the United Soccer League Premier, and the Arizona Coyotes of the NHL have not yet revealed any plans for a partnership in Arizona.

The Rising has reached a final agreement with a sportsbook operator, whose identity remains undisclosed.

Berke Bakay, the governor of Phoenix Rising FC, expressed gratitude to the Arizona Legislature and Governor Ducey for acknowledging soccer fans in their sports betting initiatives for the state. As the leading professional soccer team in Arizona, Phoenix Rising FC has partnered with a top online sports betting operator to apply for an Event Wagering Operator’s License with the Arizona Department of Gaming. Bakay is excited to provide Arizona’s diverse soccer supporters with the opportunity to participate in this thrilling new form of entertainment.
